Kety’s commentary has been featured and quoted in stories for the Wall St. Journal Online, HITN, PBS, XM radio, CNN, Televisa and Univision. Her work has taken her to China and Ethiopia with the UN Economic Commission for Africa. She spent 3 years coaching executives for a fortune 500 company on human capital and diversity in the US, Canada and Latin America. She directed Latino outreach for a Presidential Campaign. She was the New Media Manager for the National Council of La Raza and the interim ED and CEO for LATISM.  She has been a convener for Web of Change and She’s Geeky and is a past editor of BlogHer. She is a published author and founder of CrossLeft.org. Kety was a founding board member of the Hispanic Public Relations Association National Capital Chapter, the New Leaders Council and LATISM and has served on several other boards, including the Puerto Rican Youth Development and Resource Center and the Backbone Campaign. She is a blogger on the HuffingtonPost.  She has been a speaker at various conferences and was the convener of TEDxAdamsMorgan 2012. The Maynard Institute included her in their 31 Profiles of Women of Color in Digital Spaces. She was named in the Huffington Post 7 Young Latinos In Online Media To Watch In 2012 and a Politic365 “Game Changer” honoree. Her work in PR includes the 2011 PRSA-NCC Thoth Award Category Winner in Global Communications, the 2012 Global Gold Sabre Award and placement as a 2012 Cannes PR Lions finalist.
